If you're knitting socks you need some nylon to make them hard-wearing!  All these yarns have nylon in so they're perfect for socks!  

Some of these yarns are 4ply weight and some are double knit (DK) weight, your sock pattern should tell you which weight of yarn you should use. Make sure to check the yardage on your sock pattern to determine how many skeins you need. 

As a rough guide, sock patterns for 4ply weight yarn usually need more than one skein for sizes larger than a UK adult size 7, sock patterns for DK weight yarns will need 2 x 100g skeins for adult sizes.
